Cleveland Art Riot and Low Life Gallery are proud to announce "BBQ...Backyard and Beyond" an art opening and reception on Friday, July 10, 2009 from 7:00 - 11:00PM.

BBQ is synonymous with summer and has become a staple in American culture. It titillates the human senses and creates a unique social environment.
BBQ is a time, a space and an event.
"BBQ...Backyard and Beyond" is an expression of this phenomena and include exclusive art created by Aaron Gunderson, Hannah Verbeuren and Kerry Lange. Each artist will portray the subject matter through their own artistic exhibition while you the viewer will be engulfed in BBQ inspired sounds and foods.

Kerry Lange and Hannah Verbeuren started Cleveland Art Riot as means to a different approach in independent art shows. As a team they intend to keep their work and subject matter fresh and contemporary. Friends both creatively and personally for many years, Cleveland Art Riot has become Kerry and Hannah’s artistic excursion. “We want to keep ourselves and our audience interested or inspired” says Hannah, “by choosing one topic for each show then creating the art around that theme, we initiate a challenge for ourselves and the artists we chose to work with. For us, this formula is more stimulating than simply compiling a regurgitation of our past work.”
